Introduction to Check Valves of Shanghai Yifan Valve Manufacturing Co., LTD
To prevent the backflow of the medium, check valves must be installed on the equipment, devices and piping
2. Yifan high-pressure check valves are generally suitable for clean media and are not suitable for media containing solid particles or with high viscosity
3. Generally, for horizontal pipelines with a nominal diameter of 50mm, vertical lift check valves should be selected
4. The Yifan brand straight-through lift check valve can only be installed on horizontal piping
5. A bottom valve should be selected for the pump inlet pipeline. Generally, the bottom valve is only set on the vertical pipeline at the pump inlet, allowing the medium to flow from bottom to top
6. The lifting type has better sealing performance and greater fluid resistance than the rotary type. The horizontal type should be installed on a horizontal pipeline, and the vertical type should be installed on a vertical pipeline
7. The installation position of the rotary check valve is not restricted. It can be installed on horizontal, vertical or inclined pipes. If installed on a vertical pipe, the flow of the medium should be from bottom to top.
8. Rotary check valves should not be made in small diameters. They can be made in high-pressure ones, with a nominal pressure up to 42MPa. The diameter can also be made very large, up to over 2000mm. Depending on the material of the casing and seals, it can be applied to any working medium and any working temperature range. The medium includes water, steam, gas, corrosive media, oil products, medicines, etc. The working temperature range of the medium is between -196 ℃ and 800℃.
9. The installation position of the stainless steel high-pressure check valve produced by Shanghai Yifan Valve Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is not restricted. It can be installed on horizontal pipelines, as well as vertical or inclined pipelines
10. Spherical check valves are suitable for medium and low pressure pipelines and can be made in large diameters. The shell material of spherical check valves can be made of stainless steel, and the hollow sphere of the sealing part can be wrapped with polytetrafluoroethylene engineering plastic. Therefore, they can also be applied to pipelines with general corrosive media. The working temperature is between -101 and 150℃, and its nominal pressure is ≤4.0MPa. The nominal passing range is between DN200 and DN1200.
11.When choosing an incompressible fluid check valve, the first step is to assess the required closing speed, and the second step is to select the type of check valve that may meet the required closing speed
12.When choosing a compressible fluid check valve, the selection can be made based on a similar method for incompressible fluid check valves. If the flow range of the medium is large, a reduction device can be used for the compressible fluid check valve. If the medium flow stops and starts continuously and rapidly, a lift check valve should be used at the compressor outlet.
13. The check valve should have its response size determined. The valve supplier should provide data on the selected size so that the valve size when fully open can be found at a given flow rate
14.For high and medium pressure check valves with a diameter of 50mm or less, vertical lift check valves and straight lift check valves should be selected
15.For low-pressure check valves with a diameter of 50mm or less, butterfly check valves, vertical lift check valves and diaphragm check valves should be selected
16.For high and medium pressure check valves with a DN of over 50mm and under 600mm, please choose rotary check valves
17.For medium and low pressure check valves with a diameter greater than 200mm and less than 1200mm, wear-free spherical check valves should be selected
18.For low-pressure check valves with a DN of over 50mm and under 2000mm, butterfly check valves and diaphragm check valves should be selected
19. For pipelines that require minimal or no water shock when closed, slow-closing rotary check valves and slow-closing butterfly check valves should be selected.
