Introduction to Breathing Valve
The breather valve is a ventilation device fixed on the top of the storage tank to ensure the normal pressure inside the tank, prevent damage to the tank due to overpressure or vacuum, and also reduce the evaporation loss of the liquid inside the tank.
According to the provisions of the "Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Industry" (GB50160-92) of China: "Fixed top tanks for Class A and B liquids shall be equipped with flame arrestors and breather valves." The products include single inhalation valves, single suction valves, and breather valves. Various structural types can be combined with flame arrestors for construction, and the required connecting pipes can also be configured.
