The connection methods of valves of Shanghai Yifan Valve Manufacturing Co., Ltd. are as follows
Welding connection SW- socket welding BW- butt welding
Welding connection refers to a form of connection where the valve body has a welding bevel and is connected to the pipeline system through welding.
The welding of valves and pipes is divided into butt welding (BW) and socket welding (SW). Butt welding (BW) can be applied to various sizes, pressures and high-temperature working conditions. Socket welding (SW) connection is generally suitable for valves with a diameter of ≤50.
Threaded connection: FT- internal thread, MT- external thread
Threaded connection refers to a connection method where the valve body is equipped with internal or external threads and is connected to the pipeline system through the threads.
Flange connection RF/FM/RJ- flange
Flange connections can be applied to valves of various nominal sizes and nominal pressures, but there are certain limitations on the operating temperature. In high-temperature working conditions, due to the creep phenomenon of the bolts in the flange connection, leakage may occur. Generally, flange connections are recommended to be used at temperatures ≤350℃.
Wafer type connection
Wafer connection refers to a connection method in which the flanges on both sides of the valve are clamped with bolts to connect the valve to the pipeline system.
Clamp connection
Clamp connection refers to a connection method where the valve body is equipped with a jaw and is connected to the pipeline system through a clamp. A clamp is a quick coupling. When two bolts are tightened, the pipe is connected.
Ferrule connection
Ferrule connection refers to the ferrule being a hollow pipe with a conical cross-section on the pipe wall. It is mainly used for small-diameter high-pressure sealing. The sealing is ensured by squeezing the conical surface with the pre-tightening force of the bolt. Generally, the ferrule connection needs to be replaced after disassembly.
