The obvious difference in appearance between a three-way stop valve and a two-way stop valve is that there is an additional flow channel opening. Three-way valves are mainly used to change the flow direction of the medium. Three-way stop valves, in addition to the inlet A and outlet B, also have a reversing port C. Two-way stop valves do not have the function of changing the flow direction of the medium.
When the three-way stop valve is opened, the medium enters from port A and exits from port B. When the bypass requires the medium to flow in, the actuator is opened, the valve core changes direction, and the medium enters from port A and exits from port C. When the pipeline does not require the medium to flow in, the actuator is opened, and the valve closes to cut off the medium.
